Another Bakers Twine Special

A fair bit of faux bois

I took some time the past couple days to restock the best selling faux bois products in my {shop}.

Besides the tags & cards pictured here, I've also made some of the large tags on kraft card stock. I still need to photograph those before I can list them (hopefully today). I may also make some of the medium tags on kraft card stock as well.

I've been debating about how long I'll continue offering faux bois items in my shop. I think I've come to the decision that I'll offer them as long as there is an interest and as long as I have the supplies.

And speaking of the supplies.......I think I'll stick with one or 2 cardstock choices at a time and use them until I run out and then move on to another color/type of cardstock in my stash. I have so very much card stock, you see, that I really need to use it all up.

June Special....Bakers Twine set

It's been 2 years since I ran a special deal on this cute little set of bakers twine. I think it's about time to have another sale on this set. I've set aside a basket full of these little guys to offer to you at a reduced priced. Instead of $9.50 per set, they'll be only $8 per set. You will still receive 15 yards of each color for a total of 60 yards and they come packaged in the cute little birdy bag.

A Birthday Gift

My younger sister's birthday is coming up soon & I've been wanting to make her a wine cork message board for a quite a while. I made my older sister one last year & began one for myself at the time. You can read about it {here} in case you missed that post.

Anyway, for all three cork boards, I used vintage frames found at a thrift shop back in Connecticut. I think I paid $6 for the set of 3. I took the glass & original backs out & replaced them with thin plywood. Then glued the corks down with Tacky glue.

I also bought her the fleur de lis hangar
from Urban Upcycles

I think she's really going to like these.....hope she doesn't see this before I send them to her!
